Beth Sobiloff and Marcia Rothwell, hosts of the local travel show “Two Grannies on the Road,” will be speaking at the Sandwich Public Library on Wednesday, May 17, at 6:30 PM.

The Plymouth-based duo have a growing fan base who follow them on their quest to explore every town in the state through their “Grannies” travel show on the Plymouth-area Community Access Television channel and their YouTube Channel.

Ms. Sobiloff and Ms. Rothwell have been featured on CBS News, WBUR Radio, WBZ News Radio and the iHeart Media Podcast, and in the Boston Globe and Worcester Telegram, among others. The pair has gotten to know the places and people who live in Massachusetts by visiting restaurants, historic statues and buildings, libraries, museums, art galleries and llama farms, just to name a few.

During the library event, participants will hear how they have reinvented themselves later in life.
